The Bay is home to a shipyard that was in operation until the middle of the 20th century and is no longer in use.  Used for years for the scrapping or recycling of ships, the bay has become famous again for its floating forest.  Known as the floating forest, the ship SS Ayrfield transformed the region from being a ship graveyard and added life to it.  The ship, which was used for service in the war for years, carries a magnificent forest on its deck.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1221\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman4.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1221\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>II.  Many ships used during World War II are located in Homebush Bay.  The ship SS Ayrfield is home to a transformation that reveals the power and productivity of nature.  The bay where the ship is located has become one of Sydney&#8217;s unique tourist attractions.  It is one of the most visited areas for enthusiasts, nature lovers and photography enthusiasts who want to see the unique scenery.  The industrial past of the bay and the mysterious view of this strange formation both surprise and fascinate those who see it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1222\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman2.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1222\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"h-ss-ayrfield-gemisinin-gecmisi\"><strong>History of the SS Ayrfield Ship<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>II.  The 1140-ton ship SS Ayrfield, which served during World War II, is one of the ships that visited the shipyard and had to be left there.  The ship was built in England in 1911 and was used for many years in the Sydney coal transport business.  In addition, the ship, II.  It was used to transport supplies to American soldiers in the Pacific region during World War II.  By 1972, the ship was brought to the bay for dismantling.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"880\" height=\"587\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1223\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman1.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"880\" height=\"587\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1223\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Operations at the dockyard&#8217;s dismantling area came to an abrupt end, leaving the Ayrfield ship and many other ships here.  Homebush Bay has a reputation as a highly disturbing place due to its chemical waste and environmental pollution.  In fact, great efforts were made between 2008 and 2010 to clean the area from chemical wastes.  But in the intervening years, an extraordinary formation has emerged.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1225\" width=\"839\" height=\"633\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman7.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/yuzen-orman7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1225\" width=\"839\" height=\"633\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>The Ayrfield ship, which is over 100 years old, has turned into a forest over time.  The trees, bushes and other plants growing on the ship have created a magnificent forest and are home to many animals.  For this reason, the gulf has been defined as a carefully protected natural habitat area today and has been taken under protection.  It is very meaningful that this ship, which has served the war for many years, has grown a fascinating forest on the deck over time.  The ship, which was waiting to be destroyed, both became beautiful and made the area valuable.
