The exercise continued from 24 July to 15 August.  The MC02 is a comprehensive exercise that includes live drills and computer simulations.  The MC02 was designed as a test of future military transformation.  This exercise, which allows network-centered warfare;  It was conducted to test the transition to new technologies that enable more effective command and control of existing and future weapons and tactics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The exercise was carried out between the USA and an enemy force called \u201cRed\u201d, a fictional state in the Persian Gulf, and the \u201cBlue\u201d force representing the allies of the USA.  Red was often characterized as countries such as Iran or Iraq.  The battle simulated in the exercise was carried out using both a live exercise and computer simulations.<\/p>\n<p>During the exercise, the landing of ground troops with ships at a certain point in a 14-day period was simulated.  Blue forces are deployed in the coastal area so that they do not interfere with active shipping in the area due to the large navy.  However, this meant that the Blue forces were in close proximity to the Red coast.  Due to the fact that the exercise was conducted in peacetime, there were many friendly or neutral ships and aircraft in the area.  This limited the use of automatic defense systems and attack rules.  The tactics of the red side were successful, taking advantage of this situation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6690\" width=\"820\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Millennium-Challenge3.jpg\" title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Millennium-Challenge3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6690\" width=\"820\" height=\"640\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"h-millennium-challenge-tatbikatinda-turkiye-ile-ilgili-iddialar\"><strong>Allegations Regarding Turkey in the Millennium Challenge Exercise<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Scenarios similar to earthquake disasters took place in the exercise called the Millennium Challenge, which was carried out by the USA in 2002 and defined as the \u201cChallenge of the Thousand Years\u201d.  According to the scenario of the exercise, it was fictionalized that after the earthquake, a coup and occupation would be carried out in a region called the &#8220;Red Country&#8221;.  This scenario was similar to the earthquake disaster that Turkey is experiencing today.  In the period when Turkey focused on rescue efforts after the earthquakes in Kahramanmara\u015f, it was revealed that the scenario of occupying a country after an earthquake took place in the exercise called \u201cMillennium Challenge\u201d organized by the USA in 2002.  This situation attracted attention and caused controversy.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBlue Team\u201d and the unnamed \u201cRed Team\u201d took part in the \u201cMillennium Challenge\u201d exercise conducted by the US Joint Forces Command in 2002.  In the exercise, the enemy country designated as the &#8220;Red Team&#8221; was defined as a &#8220;country in the Middle East&#8221; and the scenario of having problems with an island country, high refugee population and experiencing a severe earthquake was discussed.  In the exercise, the scenario of the invasion of the Red Team was processed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6688\" width=\"821\" height=\"530\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Millennium-Challenge2.jpg\" title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Millennium-Challenge2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6688\" width=\"821\" height=\"530\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>According to the simulation on page 12 of the report, it is stated that the country called the Red Team faced a natural disaster and the invasion scenario took place after this disaster.  The Blue team, on the other hand, seizes the islands that it does not legally own, causing the Red team to be occupied.  In the Millennium Challenge 2002 exercise by the USA, the identity of the enemy country, called the Red Team, was not clearly stated.  However, in the exercise, the scenario of \u201coccupation after a natural disaster\u201d of the Red Team was processed.  For this reason, the exercise was interpreted as \u201cthe US&#8217;s plan to invade Turkey\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The start date of the exercise is July 24, the anniversary of the Lausanne Peace Agreement.  The duration of the exercise was determined as 22 days.  In the Battle of Sakarya, one of the most important victories of the Turkish Armed Forces in history, the Greek invaders were defeated in 22 days.  The 96 hours determined by the USA as the time to occupy the Red Team was similar to the duration of the Turkish Armed Forces, which was the fastest army in the world at that time to implement the mobilization order.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is very natural that the geoscientists of the USA have predicted the earthquake in a region like our geoscientists based on data,&#8221; he said. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/deprem-sonrasi-cihat-yayci-turkiyeyi-isgal-senaryosu-konusunda-uyardi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cihat Yayci<\/a><\/strong>\u201cThe US Armed Forces created a scenario according to this prediction and planned the exercise, and the name of the country opposite the USA was indicated as the target country in the plan.  However, the Associated Press says that this country is Turkey.  This exercise is not a NATO exercise, it is a US exercise.
