This symbol is accepted and has an important place in the religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.  Under the influence of religions, this symbol has been associated with different religious beliefs and identified with various meanings.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><noscript><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/davudun-yildizi-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10677\" style=\"width:820px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-davud-un-yildizi-sembolunun-ortaya-cikisi\"><strong>The Emergence of the Star of David Symbol<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Shield of David <\/strong>This symbol, also known as , has been the national symbol of the Jews since the 1000s BC.  The Hebrew word \u201cmagen\u201d comes from the same root as words meaning defense, such as \u201chagana\u201d or \u201clehagen,\u201d and means \u201cprotector\u201d and \u201cdefender.\u201d  With the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, the Shield of David <strong>on the Israeli flag <\/strong>started to be used.<\/p>\n<p>According to the legend, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/hz-davud-peygamber-ve-dev-golyat-hikayesi\/\">King of Israel Hz. After the French Revolution, Jews became able to express their religious identity more freely, and this led to the development of the Shield of David. <strong>Cross of Christians<\/strong> or <strong>Crescent of Muslims <\/strong>It allowed it to be openly used as a religious symbol.<\/p>\n<p>Some Orthodox Jewish groups oppose the use of the hexagram as a Jewish symbol due to its association with the supernatural. The six points represent harmony, kindness, perseverance, nobility, seriousness and greatness, while the center of the star symbolizes solidity.<\/p>\n<p>Star or Shield of David, according to some Jewish sources <strong>the number seven<\/strong> Represent.  This symbol is from the oldest Jewish text, Judah Hadassi, called Eshkol Ha-Kofer and dates back to the 12th century.  The names of seven angels are listed in the text, and the symbol associated with each is called the \u201cShield of David.\u201d  The number seven is important in Judaism;  because it is believed that God created the universe in six days and rested on the seventh day.<\/p>\n<p>While working six days a week, the seventh day (<strong>sabbath day<\/strong>) is reserved for rest.  It is also believed that God has seven spirits, and there are seven branches of the Menorah in the ancient Tabernacle Tabernacle and the Jerusalem Temple.  For this reason, the Star of David became a central symbol in synagogues, possibly symbolizing the 3+3+1 arrangement of the Menorah in the ancient temple.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"910\" height=\"700\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10679\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/davudun-yildizi7.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"910\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/davudun-yildizi7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10679\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Although the origin of the emblem is not known for certain, some hypotheses have been put forward.  According to one hypothesis, the symbol takes its shape from the word &#8220;David&#8221;.  In Hebrew, the word David is written with three letters (\u05d3\u05d5\u05d3).  The letter D is read as \u201cdalet\u201d and is similar to the Greek \u201cdelta\u201d.  These two letters resemble a triangle in shape. The association of King David with the symbol is also valued in Christianity and Islam to a much broader extent than Judaism.  King David is considered a protective figure and is called the Star of David because the six-pointed star symbol represents the protective power of him and his people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Christianity,<\/strong> According to Orthodox belief, this symbol represents God&#8217;s creation of the world.  Others believe that the symbol symbolizes the unity of the Old and New Testaments.  Some Christian churches have the Star of David at the top of the cross.
