A national \u201cresilience academy\u201d has been launched across the country to help people and businesses prepare for possible epidemics, natural disasters and cyber attacks.  According to reports in the British press, Dowden advised the public to stock basic equipment such as candles and battery-powered radios for use in emergencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sharing the details of the plan in the House of Commons, British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden explained the potential dangers facing the country.<strong> Russia-Ukraine war, cyberattacks, epidemics, AI abuse and extreme weather<\/strong> stated as.  Dowden urged people to prepare for the transition to an &#8220;analogue&#8221; era in case internet and power systems collapse in the event of a disaster.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prime Minister stated that people have become overly dependent on the internet and in such a situation they may face a lack of information,<strong> \u201cIt is always important that everyone has access to a battery-powered radio.\u201d<\/strong> he said.  Details of this appeal will be released on an official government resilience website next year.
