This test took place on October 30, 1961, with the test called “Tsar Bomba”. In this test, carried out with a crew of nine on a Tupolev Tu-95V aircraft, the bomb weighed 30 tons, was 8 meters long and had a diameter of 2.1 meters. The bomb was attached to a parachute and dropped from an altitude of 10,500 meters.

According to preliminary data, the nuclear yield of the Tsar Bomba was around 58.6 Megatons, but it was estimated that this value could be up to 75 Megatons. resulting from explosion of fireball its width reached 8 kilometers and its height 10.5 kilometers, but the shock wave prevented it from reaching the ground.
