Around 2,000 years later, around 525 BC, he joined the ranks of the great gods, taking the position of Nefertem among the three gods of Memphis.

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah was the chief of the Memphis gods and had created the sun, moon, and earth. This situation arises for two main reasons.

Firstly, there are errors in determining historical dates. When archaeologists and historians try to decipher ancient history, their work often relies on estimating dates.

Different archaeological teams use various methods to estimate the age of an artifact. For example, the type of pottery contained within a particular layer can be used to provide insight into the age of that layer. The assumptions behind different dating methods may not always be accurate. This can sometimes lead to artifacts being incorrectly dated by as much as 1,000 to 2,000 years.

Secondly, there is the use of traditional Egyptian chronology. If history is combined with estimated dates based only on specific dynasties, the results can be misleading. Using traditional Egyptian chronology, discrepancies between Egyptian and Israelite histories are observed.
