First, there was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake, and then a second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred at noon.  These earthquakes caused great destruction and suffering in 11 provinces.  We lost more than 50 thousand citizens.  A year has passed since the disaster of the century, but the pain of that day is still fresh.  What happened in the earthquake, moment by moment\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6 February<\/strong>In addition to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 04.17 in Kahramanmara\u015f&#8217;s Pazarc\u0131k district, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred at 13.24 in Elbistan district.  This disaster affected not only Kahramanmara\u015f, but also many provinces such as Hatay, Osmaniye, Ad\u0131yaman, Diyarbak\u0131r, \u015eanl\u0131urfa, Gaziantep, Kilis, Adana, Malatya and Elaz\u0131\u011f.  In total <strong>53 thousand 537 people lost their lives and 107 thousand 213 people were injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><noscript><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/deprem1-1024x512.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11771\" style=\"width:820px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-14-milyon-vatandasi-dogrudan-etkiledi\"><strong>Directly Affected 14 Million Citizens<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye, <strong>international aid <\/strong>had to request it and a level 4 emergency was declared.  Search and rescue teams from 93 countries made an intense effort in the region to save those trapped under the rubble.<\/p>\n<p>Earthquakes occur in an area of \u200b\u200b120 thousand square kilometers <strong>14 million citizens<\/strong> directly affected.  This disaster<strong> 11 provinces, 124 districts and 6 thousand 929 villages<\/strong> It caused heavy destruction in the neighborhood.  While national mourning was declared throughout the country for 7 days, a state of emergency (OHAL) was declared in the earthquake region. Together with other aid and payments, a total of 106 billion 728 million liras were transferred to the earthquake region.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11773\" style=\"width:820px;height:auto\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/deprem.jpeg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/deprem.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11773\" style=\"width:820px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>In the earthquake zone, damage was assessed in 2 million 302 thousand buildings and 6 million 227 thousand independent sections.  So far, 91 percent of the debris removal process has been completed.
