The word \u201cSetenil\u201d comes from Latin \u201cseptem nihil\u201d meaning <strong>\u201cseven times no\u201d <\/strong>It means.  This name represents the seven times the Catholics who lived at that time tried to take the region from the Andalusian Umayyads.<\/p>\n<p>Later, because it was extremely cool under the rocks, the town of Setenil began to be used as a warehouse to prevent food from spoiling.
