This dangerous disease is known as an infection caused by coccidioides, a flesh-eating fungus. However, recently the role played by climate change in the spread of the epidemic has become increasingly evident.

Washington Post According to information from the newspaper, “The Invisible Killer” An article titled points out a new epidemic that poses a great threat to the world. According to the article, this epidemic started in 2010 and caused loss of life, especially in America.

It has been seen in a limited way for many years in the American Southwest. valley fever The epidemic is now beginning to spread more widely, with potentially devastating consequences. What causes valley fever The fungus thrives in hot, dry environments and spreads.

climate change With this, scientists predict that the range of the fungus will expand. Rising temperatures and drought, may cause the fungus to spread over a larger geographic area and affect more people. This may require health systems and societies to take further precautions in the coming years.

Mushroom That Started Eating Flesh!

The epidemic initially begins with symptoms such as stomach discomfort, and within a few hours it devastates patients and causes them to be hospitalized. Then, strangely enough wounds occur and the disease leads to death. to this disease “Valley Fever” It is said that mosquitoes are also effective in transmitting the virus.

But the scary thing is that The cause behind the outbreak is a fungus is. This mushroom is normally While it was known as an organism that fed on plants, it started to eat meat due to the effect of climate change and humid environments. Spores of the fungus are transmitted to humans through inhalation or contact. and settles in the body and causes a fatal disease. The effects of the epidemic have increased especially in recent years, and scientists think that high temperatures triggered the epidemic.

As the epidemic spreads, thousands of people have been affected and treatment methods are limited. The most important feature of this disease is that it creates internal wounds in the body and the difficulty of treatment. According to researchers, fungal spores are spreading around the world, carried by dust storms and forest fires, and urgent measures need to be taken to prevent this situation.

In conclusion, “The Invisible Killer” This epidemic, called the epidemic, poses a serious threat and requires international cooperation and scientific effort.
