The island is administratively connected to Iran&#8217;s Hormozgan Province. Iran provides the island&#8217;s water needs with a fresh water pipeline from the mainland. The soil dominated by red tones, <strong>red beaches<\/strong> and the colors dance <strong>rainbow valley<\/strong> With places like, the island showcases the enchanting beauty of nature. The second leg of the state-supported Presence <strong>Majara Residence,<\/strong> It stands out as one of the most enjoyable stops of this project.  Majara Residence project, implemented by ZAV Architects, is located near the Valley of Silence on the west coast of the island.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12363\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi15-1024x683.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi15-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12363\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>The name Majara is a choice that reflects the imagination and uniqueness of the project.  Majara, which means \u201cadventure\u201d, has the effect of inviting people into an egg-shaped architectural tale painted in pastel tones as soon as it is seen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"727\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12364\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi13-1024x727.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"727\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi13-1024x727.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12364\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>The principles on which ZAV Architects implemented this project aimed to create an architecture that is innovative, uses local resources and contributes to the social structure, while being respectful to the urban texture and traditions.  The preference for egg-shaped buildings is a reference to the traditional dome architecture specific to the region.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"670\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12365\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi16.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"670\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi16.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12365\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>At the same time, Majara is undertaking an urban transformation project that involves and contributes to the local community.  The Super-adobe technique used in the realization of these impressive structures is an innovative method developed by architect Nader Khalili.  This technique allows the construction of Majara dwellings quite simply using compressed earth and sand.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"675\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12366\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi8-1024x675.jpeg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi8-1024x675.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12366\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Majara Residence was designed by its creators as a cultural housing project and aims for a participatory approach that also takes social relations into consideration.  In addition to the accommodation experience, some of the buildings consist of public spaces open to common use such as cafes and laundries.  The project owners emphasize that at a time when their countries are facing political problems in foreign relations, presenting local solutions architecturally is constructive and beneficial.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12367\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi9-1024x576.jpeg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/hurmuz-adasi9-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12367\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Honoring Iran, the Persian Gulf and the colorful geography of the Island of Hormuz, Majara Residence offers an architecture compatible with the cultural and geographical texture of a collective life.
