It is located 18 kilometers west of the Yeni\u015farbademli district of Isparta province. Although it is considered the longest cave in Turkey, it has not yet been fully explored. There is no definite information about the length of the explored section.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The entrance of the cave, <strong>Kizildag National Park<\/strong>It is located on the slopes of Dedeg\u00f6l Mountain at an altitude of 1,550 meters in the forest area of \u200b\u200b. Therefore, the cave <strong>It is not on the list of Turkish caves open to the public.<\/strong> and entry is only permitted to authorized persons with appropriate caving equipment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><noscript><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"451\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Pinargozu-Magarasi11.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13307\" style=\"width:820px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Discovery of P\u0131narg\u00f6z\u00fc Cave and Its Interesting Features<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>P\u0131narg\u00f6z\u00fc Cave was discovered in 1964 by the &#8220;father of caves&#8221; of Turkey. <strong>Temujin Aygen<\/strong> The first exploration attempt, made together with the Turkish Speleological Society, was cut short due to a water-filled passage at the entrance of the cave. Later, French speleologists from the Sp\u00e9l\u00e9o-club de Paris, in collaboration with local Turkish cavers, carried out the actual exploration of the cave. <strong>J. L. Pintaux and Doniat, <\/strong>In August 1965, they became the first to cross the water-filled passage and explore the interior of the cave.<\/p>\n<p>In August 1968, Claude Chabert and Michel Bakalowicz of the Sp\u00e9l\u00e9o-club de Paris, from the British Speleological Association <strong>Michael Clarke<\/strong> It became the second team to cross the waterway at the entrance of the cave. The team, which continued to explore the interior of the cave,<strong> documented the first waterfall<\/strong> but a water-filled passage 80 metres above them prevented their progress. At this point, the investigation of the cave was handed over to a British team from the Chelsea Speleological Society. Clarke entered the cave again in August 1971 with members of the Turkish Speleology Association and followed the river through fossil-bearing galleries to reach a 15-meter well at a depth of 248 meters. With these discoveries, a total of 4,685 meters of passage in P\u0131narg\u00f6z\u00fc Cave were documented.<\/p>\n<p>In September 1975 the Red Rose Cave &#038; Pothole Club discovered and explored a side passage which they called the &#8220;Affluent Sump&#8221;. Shortly after the Red Rose team left, a team from the Bristol University Speleological Society entered the cave and discovered the <strong>7-meter water filled passage<\/strong> managed to cross it by free diving, but an 18-meter waterfall stopped them.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"642\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13306\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Pinargozu-Magarasi8.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Pinargozu-Magarasi8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13306\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>By the mid-1970s the cave was recorded as being 248 metres above the entrance and approximately 5,275 metres long. More than 100 individual caves have been mapped. In August 1987, 1988 and 1989 a team from the French Speleological Federation attempted to reach deeper into the cave. On their last expedition in 1989 they managed to bypass the waterfall that had stopped the Bristol University team and reached a depth of 661.5 metres from the entrance. In total, 4 kilometres of new passages were discovered and 2.4 kilometres of new galleries were mapped during these expeditions.<\/p>\n<p>In 1992, it was claimed that the length of the cave reached 12 kilometers. In 2011, a French team explored the cave. <strong>More than 16 kilometers long <\/strong>It was claimed that he mapped the caves.
