These natural structures were formed by the cooling and crystallization of volcanic lava and represent a rare phenomenon worldwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rising in a steep prismatic form <strong>lava columns<\/strong>usually appears in pentagonal or hexagonal geometric shapes. The diameters of these columns, which can reach up to 30 meters in length, vary between 50 and 100 cm. In this way, it becomes possible to both enjoy nature and provide economic support to the region.<\/p>\n<p>Basalt rocks, which were formed by the cooling and crystallization of lava flowing from volcanoes 80 million years ago in Bart\u0131n, attract great attention. While other columns generally have a horizontal structure, the lava columns on the G\u00fczelcehisar coast attract attention with both horizontal and vertical formations.<\/p>\n<p>In this region where the lush forest meets the sea, pentagonal and hexagonal lava columns offer a visual feast to visitors. The attractiveness of the region was increased by building 800 meters long wooden walkways, observation terraces and piers. As a result of these investments, there was a rapid increase in the number of visitors and activity in tourism was observed.<\/p>\n<p>While G\u00fczelcehisar lava columns hosted 650 thousand visitors last year, they have become the center of attention of approximately 1 million people in the last 7 years. The lava columns, which stand out with their natural beauty, have become a frequently preferred place for brides and grooms to take their wedding photos, thanks to its view.
