According to preliminary information, after the plane was diverted to Dagestan instead of Grozny, it had to make an emergency landing after hitting a flock of birds. Kazakh authorities stated that 28 people survived and 5 people were in serious condition. It was noted that there were 37 Azerbaijani, 6 Kazakh, 3 Kyrgyz and 16 Russian citizens among the passengers.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Plane Catched Fire After Crashing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Flames rose after the plane crash. Kazakhstan Ministry of Emergencies sent 52 personnel and 11 vehicles to respond to the fire. This aircraft is capable of carrying 96 to 114 passengers, depending on cabin configuration, and can fly up to 4,500 kilometers.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sorrow after the plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
