Moses and Hz. Khidr story

In the Holy Quran, Ab-i Hayat does not pass by name, but in Surat al-Kahf (18/60-82), there are indirect signs of this concept. Hz. Moses meets Khidr, whose God has given a special science. The fish they carry with them during the journey revives at the meeting point. In Sahih-i Bukhari, this event is rumored that the source that caused the fish to revive is Aynü’l-Hayat.

In this story, in Islamic culture, it forms the cornerstones of the ab-i life belief. The immortality of Khidr, who drank from the water of Ab-i life, was realized by Allah’s leave and became the symbol of eternal life among the people.

Hz. Thanks to the feature of the water, with the permission of Allah, he lives until the apocalypse, helps people and appears from time to time.
