These places, which usually come to the fore with ghost stories, have been the subject of many horror movies and TV series.  It is possible to come across these frightening places in Turkey, where lived stories are told or are just rumors.  Many of the stories told about these places have not been fully elucidated.  Some of the scary places in Turkey about which mysterious stories are told are as follows;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-1-davutlu-koyu-karadedeler-olayi\"><strong>1- Davutlu Village (Karadedeler Incident)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2484\" width=\"839\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/davutlu.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/davutlu.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2484\" width=\"839\" height=\"473\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Davutlu Village is a village in the L\u00fcleburgaz district of K\u0131rklareli.  According to what is told about the village;  In the incident that took place in 1989, the villagers began to see demonic beings after dark.  The people of the village, afraid of what they see, have become unable to step out of the house for a long time.  Upon hearing of the incident, journalists went to the village to learn the truth of the matter, and in their interviews, everyone claimed that they saw the same beings.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists who stayed in the village for a long time did not come across any extraordinary events.  For this reason, one of the journalists left his camera to a 14-year-old boy and left the village.  He asked him to record when he encountered any situation.  Three days later, the journalist was taken into custody.  Because 7 people were killed in 3 different houses in the village, including the child he gave the camera to.  After a while, the clothes of the journalist and his notebook were found in a forest, and he was never heard from again.  The gendarmerie who questioned the journalist at the time of his arrest, on the other hand, fell into depression and committed suicide after a while.  After hearing about these events, many people from the village migrated to other places.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2- Desolate Friday Cemetery<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"949\" height=\"700\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2486\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Issiz-Cuma-Mezarligi-1.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"949\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Issiz-Cuma-Mezarligi-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2486\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Iss\u0131z Cuma Cemetery is located between Seyvan and \u00c7ak\u0131roba villages of Yenice district of \u00c7anakkale.  The mysterious events described in the cemetery are quite frightening.  The mosque, which was built in 1335, was named uninhabited because there was no other structure other than a cemetery around it.  Located in the courtyard of the mosque, this cemetery has a history of 680 years.  It is told that 2 separate graves belonging to a mother and baby were reunited each time.<\/p>\n<p>According to the story told;  The woman named Hatice, who gave birth to a baby girl, died shortly after.  The baby, named Ay\u015fe, dies 20 days after birth and is buried in a grave near her mother&#8217;s grave.  A few days later, relatives who went to visit were quite surprised to see that the two graves were joined.  Relatives who separate the graves later see them reunited.  After this event is repeated several times, the graves of the mother and daughter are left as they are.  This incident was also the subject of the horror movie &#8220;Siccin 2&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3- Molla Zeyrek Mosque<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2487\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Molla-Zeyrek-Camii-1024x768.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Molla-Zeyrek-Camii-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2487\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Molla Zeyrek Mosque is located in Fatih, Istanbul.  The mosque emerged with the conversion of a church into a mosque after the conquest of Istanbul.  Creepy stories are told about the mosque&#8217;s land, which is now turned into a park.  Residents of the area say that the park area used to be a barn.  It is claimed that there is a well inside the barn and a cellar under it.  Those who left their animals in the barn were afraid to go there because of the screams they heard in the evening.  It is said that the cellar under the barn opens into a huge tunnel.  There are those who say that screaming sounds can still be heard from this area, which is used as a park today.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4- Yedikule Dungeons<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2488\" width=\"838\" height=\"623\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/yedikule.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/yedikule.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2488\" width=\"838\" height=\"623\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Yedikule Dungeons in Istanbul were built in 390 by Theodosius I.  Various stories are told about the dungeons where many local and foreign captives were imprisoned at that time.  In the past, there was an important Pagan among the prisoners imprisoned in the dungeon.  Pagana, who was thought to be a high-level state official or spy in European states, was tried to be made to speak by using various tortures.  Due to his inability to speak, the dose of torture was increased day by day and Pagan, who could not stand it any longer, died.  The Pagan, who whispered words like Latin before he died, melted away at the moment of his death.  After that day, it is believed that the Pagan cursed all the people in the dungeon.  Even after that day, it is said that sometimes screams and sometimes words spoken in a language similar to Latin echoed in the Yedikule Dungeons.  It is thought that the cries heard belonged to the torturers whose souls were trapped in the dungeons.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5- Yusuf Ziya Pasha Mansion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2489\" width=\"840\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Yusuf-Ziya-Pasa-Kosku.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Yusuf-Ziya-Pasa-Kosku.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2489\" width=\"840\" height=\"631\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Yusuf Ziya Pasha Mansion, popularly known as &#8220;Haunted Mansion&#8221;, is located near Rumelihisar\u0131 of Istanbul.  The owner of the mansion is Yusuf Ziya Pasha, a wealthy merchant who lived in the 1900s.  At the same time, he was the chief aide of the Egyptian Khedive Abbas Hilmi Pasha.  The chief aide wanted to build a mansion that looked like the castles in fairy tales.  According to what has been said;  Because the head aide is very jealous, he does not want anyone to see his beautiful wife.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of the mansion was started in 1910, but with the outbreak of the First World War, Yusuf Ziya Pasha faced economic difficulties and could not finish the mansion.  At the same time, he learned that his wife had betrayed him and did not complete the mansion.  People living around the unfinished mansion mention that a long-haired young woman wanders on the empty floors of the mansion at night.  In 1990, workers worked in the construction of the mansion and they claimed that they saw the ghost of a woman in old clothes in the mirrors.  At the same time, they said that they heard this woman playing the piano.  The mansion, which is used as a museum today, is known as Perili K\u00f6\u015fk.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>6- The Mysterious Cave in Havran<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"630\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2490\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/magara-1024x630.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/magara-1024x630.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2490\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Located in Havran district of Bal\u0131kesir province, the cave is one of the places that are the subject of frightening stories.  Rumors of full human bones are common around the cave, which is quite large.  According to what has been said;  The animals that go inside do not come back, and if there is a shepherd who follows the animal, no news can be heard from him.  Villagers in the area believe that there is something mysterious in the cave.  Even while grazing their animals, they do not go near the cave because they are afraid.  What is inside the cave is not yet known.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>7- Apartment No. 129<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2491\" width=\"840\" height=\"471\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/129.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/129.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2491\" width=\"840\" height=\"471\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>According to what has been said;  Two female students studying at Ankara METU died mysteriously in 2009 in apartment number 129.  It is told that these students performed some satanic rituals by lighting candles at midnight.  According to eyewitnesses, there was a severe earthquake that night, and the windows were broken in the whole apartment by throwing things around.  After the incident, the apartment was abandoned and then no one dared to enter.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>8- Ancient City of Harput<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2492\" width=\"840\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/harput.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/harput.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2492\" width=\"840\" height=\"420\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Located near Elazig and BC.  Interesting stories are told about the ancient city of Harput, which dates back to 2000 years.  According to rumors;  An evil entity named Kamos lives in the ancient city.  This entity descends on sleeping people like a nightmare with all its weight, causing them to be struck or killed.  People who are in light sleep realize this situation but cannot move to get rid of it.  This being described wanders at night and is sometimes seen as a large and sometimes as a dwarf.  It is told that this creature, which is seen in the form of a black cat from time to time, draws the blood of the person stepped on and his veins dry up.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>9- B\u00fcy\u00fckada Greek Orphanage<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"692\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2493\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/yetimhane-1024x692.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"692\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/yetimhane-1024x692.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2493\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>The Greek orphanage is located on Manast\u0131r Hill in B\u00fcy\u00fckada, one of the Istanbul islands.  The orphanage was built in 1898 by the French architect Alexandre Vallaury, using entirely wooden materials.  The orphanage, which was the place where orphaned children were educated, served as a seminary after a long time.  Visitors to the orphanage, which was closed and disused in the 1960s, say that they heard children&#8217;s voices.<\/p>\n<p>While serving as an orphanage, a fire broke out for an unknown reason.  During the fire, some children were burned to death, and one of them fell into the water well in the garden while escaping from the fire.  During the searches after the fire, no one thought to look at the water well.  The child in the well was left to die, albeit unintentionally.  It is claimed that after this incident, the sounds of children constantly came from the water well, and some nights, the cries of children were heard from the orphanage.  It is believed that the child&#8217;s voice, especially from the garden, comes from the child who died in the water well.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>10- The Tomb of Tezveren Baba<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2494\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tezveren-Baba-Turbesi.jpg\" data-lazy- title=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/kasifiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tezveren-Baba-Turbesi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2494\" title=\"\"><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<p>Tezveren Baba Tomb, located in the vicinity of Istanbul Dolapdere, is one of the mysterious places.  Tezveren Baba is one of the people who were martyred during the Ottoman Empire.  According to what has been said;  Tezveren Baba had no feet.  That&#8217;s why he used to wear his clogs on his hands.  Today, it is said that the clicking sounds of these clogs can be heard in the tomb.  Visitors to the tomb take clogs with them.
