Health Experts Warn: It May Have Dangerous Consequences
After the video attracted great attention on social media, health experts warned that water of unknown origin should not be consumed. Hepatologist Cyriac Abby Philips stated that air conditioner condensed water can pose serious threats to health. Philips announced that this water may carry “legionella” bacteria and this may trigger legionnaires’ disease.

Legionnaires’ disease manifests itself with symptoms such as high fever, cough, muscle aches and shortness of breath. Experts stated that such diseases could be even more dangerous and emphasized that applying air conditioner water directly to the skin could also cause irritation or allergic reactions. Therefore, it was warned that using drinking water without relying on any source could cause serious health problems.
