During the work, finds that can be considered important also emerge. We unearthed one of these during the excavations carried out in the building called SDC 3. We think it is important for Anatolian archaeology. Its like has never been seen before in this geography. This is what we call an amulet, a pendant used as an amulet. One of the things that makes this object important is the inscriptions on both sides and the description on it. In the depiction on it, Hz. Solomon is depicted on a horse with a spear in his hand, spearing the devil. Because in all 3 sacred religions, Hz. Solomon is important. While he is mentioned as a ruler in Judaism and the Bible, in Islam he is also mentioned as a prophet in addition to his rulership. In other words, what is important for heavenly religions is Hz. “The depiction of Suleiman on this necklace surprised us and showed us that it is an important work for Anatolian archeology.” he said.

In the excavations we carried out in Hadrianopolis, we had established the existence of the cavalry unit with concrete data as a result of archaeological excavations in previous years. Hz. Suleiman’His interest and bond with horses is also known. Hz. It is also known that Suleiman was the commander of the armies. We understand that he is depicted here as a protector of the cavalry in the Roman and post-Roman Byzantine periods. Hz. We also know that Solomon was of course equipped with knowledge and wisdom in both Islam and pre-Islamic religions, and that our Lord bestowed knowledge and wisdom. Hz. We see that various judgments and decision-making, known as the judgment of Solomon, are still used more effectively as an expression among people today. This work is really important. Hz on the front. It talks about Solomon and our Lord defeating evil. On the back side Names of our 4 holy angels “is taking place”
This work has no equal in Anatolian Archeology
Assoc. Dr. Ersin Çelikbaş stated that this work belongs to the early Byzantine period and that no similar example has been found in Anatolia. “A similar example was found only in Jerusalem. The emergence of two similar works in two such distant geographies also shows that Hadrianopolis was an important religious center in ancient times.” he said. Çelikbaş said that based on the fonts on the necklace and the stratigraphic data they obtained during the excavations, the artifact dates back to the 5th century AD.
