Australian photographer Tony Hewitt and Canadian photographer Blake Randall have won top prizes in the 2023 International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. Hewitt was named Landscape Photographer of the Year for his impressive portfolio, while his single shot of birches showing Blake’s reflection in water was deemed the most impressive photo of the entire competition.
The competition, now in its 10th year, attracted more than 4,000 participants. In addition to the main prizes, special prizes that change every year are also distributed in the competition. Awards for the best Aerial, Seascape, Black and White, Desert and Ice & Snow photos in 2023 was also distributed. through these categories many different aspects of the natural landscape was highlighted, and these international photographers saw their creative talents rewarded, whether they spent time in the jungle or huddled on an iceberg.
Landscape Photographer of the Year 2022 Benjamin Briones GrandiAn esteemed panel of judges, including , faced the difficult task of sorting through the footage. In addition to awarding the top three portfolios, single images, and determining special awards, they also selected the top 200 landscape images overall.








In addition to the portfolio and single image awards, awards were also given in many special categories.





The works of the winners and the top 101 in the overall rankings will be published in the annual photo book of the competition.
