Development and design process
The first concept of the garden was shaped by an agreement between Dubailand and Dubai Properties Group. The development of the project was carried out by Akar Landscape and Agricultural Company led by Jordan businessman Abdel Naser Rahhal. The total cost of the project was determined as approximately 40 million AEDs (US $ 11 million).
The garden was completed in two main stages:
First Stage: It was opened in February 2013. Vertical and horizontal landscaping designs at outdoor facilities with an area of 2,000 square meters covered an area of 21,000 ft², each with original themes. This stage took only two months and approximately 400 workers took part.
Second Stage: It was launched in June 2013 and completed in October. In the garden, which reached 2 million ft² (approximately 190,000 m²), flower clock, butterfly garden, retail stores and mosques serving visitors were added. This expansion made the garden not only a flower exhibition, but also an experience of experience.
More than 120 different flowers are exhibited in the garden and some of them are rare species that have never grown in the Gulf region.
Visit Hours and Operations
Dubai miracle garden is open to visitors every year between October and April every year due to climatic conditions. From May to September, the temperatures are kept closed due to the average reach of 40 ° C (104 ° F). It can be visited from 9 am to 9 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 11 pm on weekends and public holidays.
