The region of the anomalies is located 400 miles from the American city of El Paso, on the border of the states of Durango, Chihuahua, and Coahuila. The landscape of the area resembles the ocean floor. For this reason, it is thought that there was an ocean here in the ancient period. This name is given to the region because of the ancient ocean called the “Tethys Sea”. There is no green vegetation in the region, and no animals live except for poisonous snakes. It is located in the desert only from withered thorny bushes and cacti.
In the 1930s, in the Mexican state of Coahuila, a pilot named Francisco Sarabia traveled around the desert for military purposes. As soon as we entered the confines of the silence zone, radio signals and radio communications were cut off and all equipment malfunctioned and dropped.
