Adolf Hitler was an obsessive racialist long before he became chancellor of Germany. Because he was trying to create a pure and superior German race, he applied all kinds of torture and killing methods to other nations. In the death camps of the Nazis, more than 300,000 innocents died and were subjected to unimaginable torture and experiments. Because Hitler blamed the Jews for the collapse of the German economy, he harbors great hostility towards the Jews. He committed an unprecedented genocide of the Jewish people because he thought that the Jews should be completely eliminated.

In Adolf Hitler’s childhood, his dream job was painting. However, he could not continue because he was not accepted to the fine arts school. An art lover who was interested in painting turned into a ruthless leader over time. Adolf Hitler’s financial situation is not good and he had to live with the homeless for a while after losing his family. He rose from such a situation and took the helm of the country and carried Germany much further.

The Life and Entry of Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler voluntarily joins the army when Germany enters the First World War. He was promoted to corporal by taking part in various duties at the front. At the end of the war, Hitler was injured by a mustard gas attack and was treated for a while. Meanwhile, when Hitler heard that the First World War was over and Germany had surrendered, he was very angry. He decides that in order to save Germany from this situation, it must become a world power.

After the First World War, inflation in Germany skyrocketed and unemployment peaked. People pay huge amounts of money to buy a piece of dry bread. In the same situation, Adolf Hitler tries to make a living by painting and selling, but he cannot succeed. Thereupon, Hitler, who re-entered the army, became an intelligence officer. In 1919, he is sent on duty to oversee the German workers’ party to be held in Munich. This mission he went to became the turning point of Adolf Hitler’s life.

Angered by the talk about Germany at the party’s meeting, Hitler makes an effective speech. He lashes out at the speeches led by the Jews, which have made Germany miserable. After the speech, Hitler, who is noticed by the party, becomes a member of the party. Adolf Hitler cries out that the country must be cleansed of Jews, that he will avenge the humiliation of Germany and that he will restore Germany’s national dignity. A short time later, Hitler became the leader of the party and changed the name of the party to the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. It is the party known as the Nazis. The party, which is growing day by day, states that the Versailles agreement blinded the German people and that this agreement should be eliminated.

Adolf Hitler’s Coup Attempt

Adolf Hitler must take over the country to achieve his goals. Hitler, who seems very difficult to come to power with the election, decides to stage a coup. In order to carry out a coup, he has to take the army behind him, but this is an impossible situation. That’s why Hitler soon formed his own regular army and named it the SA battalion, meaning brown shirts.

Hitler went down to the streets of Munich on 8 November 1923, raided the meeting of the Bavarian Government and took all the political leaders hostage. He then offers government officials to join them and support the coup, but receives a negative response. Freed from the Nazis, government officials mobilized the army and arrested Hitler on April 1, 1924. Hitler, who did not spend his days in prison empty, wrote the world-famous book “Mein Kampf”, in which he told his autobiography and his ideas, so he had the opportunity to explain himself to the masses. After 9 months in prison, Hitler is released.

The Assumption of Adolf Hitler

Before the 1930 elections in Germany, an event that affected the whole world took place, the US stock market collapsed and the world markets were turned upside down. Adolf Hitler, who turned the situation into an opportunity, made propaganda with his party about this crisis. In the 1930 elections, the Nazis were the second most voted party. However, despite this success, Hitler could not enter the coalition and was out of government. But in the renewed election in 1932, it managed to become the first party by getting very good votes. Although he is the first party, he cannot take the lead because he is not a German citizen. He then gave up his Austrian citizenship and became a German citizen.

Meanwhile, clashes broke out between the parties in Germany and the German parliament building was set on fire. Upon the events, Adolf Hitler is given the authority to rule the country by the President. Adolf Hitler first banned all non-Nazi political parties. With the death of the President in 1934, Adolf Hitler becomes the sole president of the country.

After coming to power, his first job was to regulate the tax system to improve the economy. The stability of German brands was ensured, industrial facilities increased and unemployment was almost zero by providing job opportunities for young people. According to the Treaty of Versailles, the German army, which is limited to 100 thousand, is prohibited from using heavy weapons and air forces. Hitler rejected the Versailles Treaty in 1936 and introduced compulsory military service. He started heavy tonnage ship production and re-established the German Air Force.

Adolf Hitler’s Expansion Movements

In 1938, Adolf Hitler initiates the expansion movement that he had planned for a long time. His first target was Austria, the land of his birth. In 1938, the German army entered Austrian territory without encountering any resistance. European states responded to this invasion by the Nazis only with diplomatic protest.

Hitler turns his direction to the Sudeten region, which was ceded to Czechoslovakia after the First World War and where 3 million Germans live. With the intervention of the British, who did not want a new war in Europe, the Sudeten region was given to Germany, while Hitler was promised not to attack Czechoslovakia. However, Hitler did not keep his word and invaded the whole of Czechoslovakia.

In 1939, Hitler jointly invaded Poland, agreeing with the Soviet Union. Thereupon, Britain and France declared war on Germany immediately after the invasion of Poland. As a result of this unexpected situation, Hitler transferred all of Germany’s military power to the west and invaded Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France.

Hitler brought Nazi Germany to the widest borders, but after a while, these wide borders started to cause problems. Hitler attacked the Stalingrad region, the Soviet Union’s vast oil fields, to solve the oil problem, but was unsuccessful. In 1943, due to the Soviet counter-attack, he had to retreat to the east, while on the western front, the Allies landed in France with the entry of the United States into the war.

With day-to-day unsuccessful results on all fronts, Hitler is finally stuck in Berlin. Realizing that he would lose the war, Hitler preferred to die rather than surrender to those who wanted to overshadow their 25-year success. He committed suicide on April 30, 1945, at the age of 56.
