Seyit Ali Corporal Lifting a 257-Kg Bullet
During the naval battles of Çanakkale; Enemy ships off Seddülbahir bombarded Morto Bay and Seddülbahir Hill. The resistance of the Turkish soldiers gradually decreased. But the soldiers, as if desiring the rank of martyrdom; Instead of running away, he fought with his last effort. At this time, a bomb dropped from a British ship completely destroyed the unit fighting on the ridge of Morto Bay.
Seyit Ali Sergeant, who survived this union, realized an unprecedented event in the world with the agony he felt in the face of the scenery around him. He lifted the 257-pound bomb, which 3 people could hardly lift under normal conditions, alone and drove it into the barrel of the ball. The bullet he fired hit the Ocean Ship, and the ship split in two and sank.

The explanations on this subject are as follows; In the battery, only one gun was left standing, the bullet cannot be driven into the barrel because its da vinci is broken. While Captain Hilmi Bey goes away to get help from the people about this issue, Niğdeli Ali and Koca Seyit are desperately thinking about what to do. Seyit Ali Corporal, in an ecstatic state, suddenly embraced the 257-kilogram bullet and took it on his shoulder with the prayers he repeated over and over. The crackling of the chest and shoulder bones of the Sergeant Seyit Ali, who ascended and descended the iron steps 3 times, can be heard by the people next to him. The 3rd bullet driven into the barrel of the gun changed the fate of the war.
On the same day, Seyit Sergeant was awarded the rank of “corporal” by Cevat Pasha, the commander of the fortified position in the Dardanelles. Commander wanted the bullet to be lifted once more, but Seyit Corporal could not remove it despite all his efforts. Thereupon, Seyit Corporal; “As I lifted these bullets, my heart was filled with the blessing of Allah. However, the secret of this power was a tax bestowed upon me by God at that moment. If I have reached an office to lift this weight, it has been through prayer and consent. However, it is not possible for me to remove it now, my commander. gave the answer.

Sinking the Enemy’s Battleship Goliath
The enemy’s ship Goliat, which was planning treacherous attacks, was taken over by the Ottoman soldiers due to the fog that suddenly covered the area. In the face of this event, General Hamilton said the following: “During last night’s fog, a Turkish torpedo boat penetrated the Dardanelles and torpedoed the battleship Goliat. The enemy deserved the medal. Down with them!”
Upon this incident, the British experienced a great shock in the Battle of Gallipoli. After the news reached Britain, a tribal meeting was held. Admiral Fisher, Commander of the British Navy, and Winston Churchill, Minister of the Navy, resigned two days later.

Clouds Over Conkbayırı
According to the story told about the soldiers fighting in Conkbayırı; 57 divisions would change clothes every day, wash them, hang them in the bushes and wear them the next day. The reason for this is to appear before Allah in clean clothes if they are martyred. Soldiers with very strong spirituality would pray and start the war after praying. As the soldiers were pressed by the enemy, a cloud of white-gray color descended from the sky over the 57th Division. The enemy soldiers, who could not understand what was going on, could not find a single Turkish soldier when the cloud cleared.

Nusret Minelayer Avoidance of Capture
While the Nusret Mine Ship was collecting the mines between Seddülbahir and changing its place; The Anatolian Lighthouse, which protected it, set up floodlights on an English ship and followed the ship. At this time, the Anatolian Lighthouse malfunctioned and the Nusret Minelayer had to turn off its lights. The British ship turned on its projectors and began scanning the sea.
Just as the Nusret Mine ship was about to be captured, the Anatolian Lighthouse started working again and directed its lights on the British ship. The ship escaped capture and returned after fulfilling its mission. The ship’s commander Nazmi Bey, who learned that the Anatolian lighthouse works on its own without any intervention, described this event as a miracle in his diaries.

Clouds Protection of Soldiers Praying
One of the most talked about topics in the Battle of Çanakkale is the clouds covering the soldiers praying. Due to the fact that many events took place from the beginning of the war to the end, even foreigners approved this issue. During the period when the war coincided with the month of Ramadan, the Turkish armies kept their fast and continued their struggle. With the approach of Eid, the concern about how to perform the Eid prayer began.
A Çanakkale veteran who lived through the incident explained the issue as follows:
“It was the day of the eve, the front commander Vehip Pasha called me. Hafiz, the soldier has a request. Tomorrow is Eid-al-Fitr, they want to pray together in the morning. It is dangerous and a unique opportunity for the enemy to be in a group of Erat. I did not accept their offer. And you tell it in an appropriate language! Said. After leaving the Pasha’s side, a person who was committed to the name of right said: Do not say anything to the people, let it be a day, be a good one! Whatever God says, it will happen!”

On the morning of Eid-al-Fitr on Thursday, August 12, 1915, all the soldiers gathered to perform the Eid prayer. When they started to pray, white clouds covered the sky. After a while, these clouds collapsed on the ground and made the soldiers who were praying invisible. After the prayer, the Fatah surah was read and at the end of the prayer, thousands of soldiers repeated the words “La ilahe illallah Muhammedun Rasûlullah”.
The soldiers who performed the prayer were ecstatic with the shouts of Allah. After a short silence, the voices of Allahu Akbar rose from the enemy trenches in the form of humming curtains. As it was learned later; When the Muslim soldiers under the British colony learned that they were fighting against Muslim Turkish soldiers, they rebelled by saying Allahu Akbar and were removed from the front.
