The flying hotel, called Sky Cruise, will work by combining nuclear energy and artificial intelligence technologies. Thanks to nuclear power, it will be able to stay in the air for several years and will be controlled by artificial intelligence. In 2040, it plans to serve with a capacity of 5 thousand people.

The Sky Cruise flying hotel was designed by Tony Holmsten and Hussein Al-Ghaili. It will be possible to descend to the top of the hotel, which will stay in the air, and can be reached by electric commercial or private jets. The flying hotel will have no carbon footprint and will be powered by 20 electric motors. The hotel will offer its guests a breathtaking 360-degree view.

The designers stated that the “Sky Cruise” flying hotel will be fueled for a long time thanks to nuclear power, so it can hang in the air for several years. The hotel will feature multiple bars, swimming pools, observation decks, game rooms and a movie theater. It will also feature upscale restaurants, a large shopping mall, gyms, theatres, pools, healthcare and event spaces.

The designers of the Sky Cruise flying hotel explained that the artificial intelligence system will not only guide the ship, but also predict and avoid turbulence, allowing the hotel to glide over the turbulence with ease. On the other hand, it has been announced that the design is aimed to be realized by 2040.

Although the flying hotel has not yet been physically built, its design has been posted on YouTube and garnered a lot of attention among social media users. Since the flying hotel designed by a biotechnologist will not need fuel, it is rarely expected to land on the ground. While it is estimated that the trip of the nuclear reactor-powered flying hotel could cost a fortune, the concerns that it could destroy a city in the event of a fall were also shared by the commentators. However, without the Sky Cruise’s design being fully tested and built, it is impossible to confirm or deny that this is dangerous.
