According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 04.17 in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş. The 7.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.
After the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, the earthquake sharing of Frank Hoogerbeets, known as the “Earthquake Oracle”, became a topic on social media. “Sooner or later, there will be 7.5 earthquakes in this region (South-Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon),” Hoogerbeets said on his social media account on February 3.

Hoogerbeets also commented: “My heart is with all those affected by the great earthquake in Central Turkey. As I said before, a similar earthquake in 115 and 526 would occur in this region. These earthquakes can always be predicted with critical planetary geometry.”
Frank Hoogerbeets is an earthquake expert known for the website Ditrianum he founded in 2002. The Australian astronomer has been interested in the solar system and planets since childhood. His first public earthquake forecast on April 20, 2015, predicted that it would be critical from April 22-27 due to certain planetary positions, and the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25, 2015 confirmed this.
