Kuzalan travertines or Göksu travertines, known as “white stone” by the local people and located in Giresun Dereli District, attract great attention in the region. Located in Kuzalan Nature Park, these travertines were formed by the effect of mineral waters and spread over an area of approximately 500 hectares. This area, spread over an area of 1800 meters, is the second largest travertine area formed in the forest.
