Following the developments, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced a possible Portable shelters against nuclear attackannounced that mass production of the device has started. The Ministry announced that these mobile shelters named “KUB-M” provide protection against many threats, including shock waves and radiation hazards resulting from nuclear explosions. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian army launched six ballistic missiles at targets in Bryansk with American-made ATACMS missiles.
The Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia stated that the “KUB-M” shelters produced in the city of Dzerzhinsk can be used not only in war situations but also in different scenarios such as natural disasters.
It was emphasized that the capacity of these mobile shelters, which have a capacity of 54 people, can be increased if necessary. In the ministry statement, “The start of mass production of the mobile shelter represents an important step towards increasing the safety of citizens” statements were included.
